OSX Collect media fails

Backing up a show from a PC Windows 7 to an external drive using collect media

Transfer to maxed out macbook pro osx high sierra.

media manager > Locate All > select footage folder

nothing happens.

I just used textedit to manually do it for the AVC file so i'm good.

Anyone have tricks for this issue. Both machines are on 6.0.6.

I had that same problem a few weeks ago when 6.0.6 was in beta and I had to roll back to 6,0.5 to load my show. Then I roll back forward to 6.0.6.
