Advanced output freakout on 6.0.7

Post by anthonydiehl »

Encountering a weird window freakout thing in 6.0.7.

I am outputting 7680 x 2160 @ 24hz on one output of a 1080ti into two FX4's using the displayport loop through.
Screen is solid and recognized in windows. All cabling is DP 1.4 rated and holding the signal no problem.

Occasionally, when I open (and sometime close) either the Advanced output window or the preferences menu, all of the screens (main UI and outputs to the datapath FX4s) will flicker like a screen trying to connect. If I click on the main UI during this flickering, it almost immediately stops. Additionally, if I click on the window that appears in the windows system tray for the full screen output, I can force this weird screen freak out to happen. Again, clicking anywhere on the main UI causes it to stop.

Does not seen to be a system or hardware issue as we can not make this happen in any scenario other then in resolume. Any thoughts on what this may be and how to resolve it?

Update on this: tried the same setup on another identical machine and no issue. Suspecting this may be a driver or graphics card issue for now.

Could be a driver issue indeed.
Which GPU driver versions are installed on these machines?

What's the display scaling setting on the machines for the individual outputs?

We've traced the issue as part of a larger problem. We have major screen tearing coming out of the advanced output on R6. Posting in another thread.
