Persistent MIDI Mapping

When mapping a note to a clip and then that clip becomes persistent, you can no longer use the "This Clip" method of mapping.

I prefer the "This Clip" method, in case I decide to move or shift layers around in the future, I won't have to remap stuff. Is this going to be the way it is? If it is, I can find other ways around it, Just thought I'd bring it to your attention.

Indeed there seems to be something odd going on with persistent clips mapped to This clip.
I'll create a ticket.
