Any advice about how to decide how many computers need to map on large LED walls
(ex; 32 x 9 )

Pixels? Panels? Metres???


The answers probably the same anyway, one really good computer is usually the best way forward , with switching and a backup computer if you can afford it!

Your biggest question is going to revolve around signal distribution from computer to LeD wall processors. And make/model of those will have an impact on your setup.

Intel® UHD Graphics 620 or Nvidia GTX1050 Graphics

Intel 620 is an integrated GPU whereas Nvidia GTX1050 is a dedicated one so for sure you should get the Nvidia.

But keep in mind the GTX1050 is going to be fairly limited, so I would recommend getting at least GTX1060/6GB or GTX1070/8G if you can swing it financially. You won't regret it!

As Oaktown said, Do not use an integrated (Intel) GPU when your other options are much better. I personally would start my recommendations on a 6GB GTX1060 and above. It's worth the extra $200-300!!

What pixel pitch is this wall? 3mm,6mm,10mm?
6mm and above should be under 1080p, but when you start playing with 3mm and the like, you might be entering the 4k territory.
Any modern computer should be able to handle 4k without a problem, the only questions at that point is:
how hard are you going to push it?
20 layers of 4k? that might not work haha, but if you're doing 10 or fewer layers of 4k, a GTX1060 should handle that just fine. a GTX1050 might only get you 2-4 layers? IDK, there might be a GTX1050 benchmark posted on here that could give you an exact idea of what you can do.

But if it's 1080p, you're set for days
