Hi
I’m trying to find out how to zoom, focus, and reposition the frame quickly (and also having an issue using Resolume simulatenously with other video apps). Can you please help?
I was trying to use another app in addition to resolume to control video parameters lik zoom in/out and positioning on my live video with very simple single button presses. I use logitech webcams and they have a piece of software from the manufactuer called Camera Settings which allows me to control the zoom, positioning, and other aspects of the video (like the focus and the field of view) very easily. You can see some of the controls here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/26md7pkzv45u0 ... 2.png?dl=0
However, when i tried to use app this at the same time as i was using the webcam in resolume, both apps became very buggy and sometimes unresponsive. To test if this was just an issue with Camera Settings app, I also tried using a webcam in OBS at the same time as using the webcam in Resolume (without opening the Camera Settings app) and experienced the same kinds of issues with both OBS and Resolume messing up alot.
I figure that there may be a technical limit in that a single camera can’t be accessed by two programs at one time (unless it is syphoned from 1 app to the other)- is this correct? Or is something just messing up and there is a way to allow me to use the camera in both apps at the same time? If so, great- how can i do this?

Or, if it’s not possible to use both apps at the same time, how can i replicate these functions ( zooming, positioning and focus) by just using Resolume? I can currently zoom and reposition the video by adjusting scale and anchor parameters in Resolume with my mouse but it takes a long time and i want it to be faster. I’m thinking that i could create midi buttons with the Max app (from cycling 74) that will control the zoom and positioning functions by modifying the scale and anchor parameters in Resolume. I am not sure how to do this yet and it seems like alot of work, but it seems possible. I have no idea how i would replicate the focus (or other parameters like field of view), but zooming and positioning are a higher priority for now. Is there anything that is built into Resolume or that i can download to provide these functions?
Thanks!

Controls are available for NDI PTZ cameras but unfortunately I don't believe there is anything available for the kind of camera you have.

Thanks. Since writing that post i've also tested using the Logitech Camera Settings app at the same time as OBS and had no issues at all with it. That makes me think that there is no fundamental issue where a camera can't be accessed by two applications at once, which makes me think that something is messing up with Resolume.
What can I do to make Resolume work simultaneously with the Camera Settings application? (or OBS/whatever app, but the Camera settings app is what i really want to use it with). That would be so helpful!

I currently have my laptop cam in Arena 6, Madmapper 3, OBS 21.1 at the same time without any issues.
I also have the cam broadcast from Arena and Madmapper over NDI and Syphon and using the feeds respective feeds in Arena, Madmapper and NDI Monitor and still no issues or added latency.
