Hi everyone,
After 3 years (mostly 2013 retina 15” MBP) of shows and 7/8 gigs with pc (win10) and 1080, I’ve encountered my first big problems that I was able solving switching to my MBP.
The audio guy (which had in mute my channel... omg) asked me to reboot my pc and when went back on, lost both HDMI posts only.
I was meant to open the doors in 5mins... song ve panic and instead of turning off the pc adjust the card in the slot and turning on, I’ve decided to switch computer. It worked and in 5 minutes I was able to blend and do the show.
The day after, I’ve rebooted the PC and the HDMI work fine.
Now question;
Is it a defective card or most likely is the motherboard (cheap) that doesn’t hold the card well, and rebooting can make the card freak ?
Thank you in advance guys.
Best, j.

Were the HDMI outputs showing up in Windows as connected?

Hi Zoltán,
No I couldn’t see it in advanced output and windows display. After losing one I lost even the GUI.
I heard some pc guys saying that could be a hiccup of the video card. I need to check if I have last motherboard bios update. Pretty sure I have the last graphic card update.

Why would the audio guy ask you to reboot your PC?The audio guy (which had in mute my channel... omg) asked me to reboot my pc and when went back on, lost both HDMI posts only.
Regarding your issue, it could be a PCIe overload! What's your motherboard and what kind of peripheral do you have on it? Is your GPU connected in the main PCIe slot and is it a 16x?

I've just updated the Bios.
And will troubleshoot.
