I have a problem outputting with Resolume 6 with my MacBook Pro.
In settings/displays the arrangement is correct, laptop on left, projector on right, and mirror displays is off.
In Advanced Output, when I switch from Virtual Output to display 2, I get output on display 1 only.
If I go to Output/Identify Displays, both displays (1,2) appear on the screen. Weird. As I said earlier, mirror displays is off.
As a result I had to do the gig using Resolume 5, which was a shame, but at least it worked.
Any ideas?

Re: Output problems
What kind of macbook pro is that, does it have dedicated graphics?
Do you have "Displays have separate spaces" enabled or disabled?

Re: Output problems
Hi there,
My Mac book is a 15 inch mid 2012 i7
Yes, it has dedicated graphics. Intel HD graphics 4000 1536 MB and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB.
As I said, it works perfectly with Resolume 5, and I am pretty sure that I have used Resolume 6 earlier this year. I updated to the latest software just before I went away.
Not sure what you mean by "Displays have separate spaces", but in display preferences mirror displays is OFF.
Any ideas?

Re: Output problems
It's a settings you can find in OSX system settings - Mission control:elbundlo wrote:Not sure what you mean by "Displays have separate spaces", but in display preferences mirror displays is OFF.

Re: Output problems
I have the exact same issue.
I have laptop display as primary and a big LED as a second screen.
The problem is that when I press identify display it identifies both on the laptop, both 1 and 2 and nothing at all happens on the LED.
My mac is a 2015, i7 with dual graphiccards, AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2 GB &Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
I have this use as separate space funktion marked with a checker as "in use" and it makes no difference
atm I can only use windowed and drag/drop to second screen but as it is I can not make custom slices as the software and the advanced sceen window and all is on the same screen :-/

Re: Output problems
Try to Start Resolume, then right click on the Resolume program icon in the dock and hover over Options, elbundlo wrote:I have a problem outputting with Resolume 6 with my MacBook Pro.

then select the Assign to None option.
You only see this option if you have multiple desktops, which I assume you do, or did at one point.
If you don't then create some to see this option, looks like it's sticky even if you don't have multiple desktops. because... OSX...

Re: Output problems
Hi there,
I notice that there is a new update for Resolume 6, and was wondering if the output problems have been sorted out.
I have chosen not to update yet as I have some gigs coming up, so am going to wait a week or so before I do.
Any feedback gratefully received.
Cheers,
Paddy

Re: Output problems
This one looks to be an OS level thing, where OSX forces the output to certain displays.
I don't think we can do much about that if you have these settings mentioned in my previous post, so you need to check those out.
