Change tension Mp4 to. Mov
Hi, I have to run a video file of 1 hour and 30 minutes. The file is MP4 (7GB) I tried to change the extension in. Mov and is working in resolume. I wanted to ask you if this is a wrong procedure? Convert this file to. Mov dxv comes out 100gb. I would not have any problems with crashes. Thank you

I do the .mp4 to .mov trick all the time in pre-production but my recommendation if your event depends on the visuals would be to encode your movie to DXV3|High. What's wrong with a 100GB file?

Re: Change tension Mp4 to. Mov
Sadly I got caught out with this at a show recently as I'd run short of time to convert the content.
I have got away with it previously by changing the container to .mov.
I guess the .mp4s were just a bit too heavy this time around.
Wish I had just played back the mp4's with VLC or Quicktime
