DMX IN on/off switch

Post by Oaktown »

Quite often I work with lighting designers and program my cues in their board but I would like the ability to easily turn the DMX IN on and off directly in the main user interface so that I can disconnect from them momentarily without having to go to the preference menu.

This has been my life for the last 3 days lol.
I don't mind the extra step personally, but having a keyboard shortcut could be cool, like maybe Ctrl+Alt+X ?

TBH I find myself turning the built in test card on and off more than anything on gigs. I know I could use my own, but having a shortcut for the test card would be the bee's knee's. like maybe Ctrl+Alt+T ?

Not to derail this thread but I could use that as well WITH the ability to stop the sweep!!

Would be handy, I had to filter all my artnet through touch designer for this.
