Basic audio reactive generators
I'm looking for a basic bar graph and an oscilloscope type generators. I bought BigFug's Power and Scope, but I can't get them to draw anything with Resolume Avenue 6.0.8. I put a support email out to them and haven't heard back.
Re: Basic audio reactive generators
What is your default audio device set to? Can you apply an external FFT override for a clips opacity to test your default audio device?
Not sure how his plugin's work, but I would guess it would be using Resolume's (AND your OS's) Default sound source (whatever that may be).

Re: Basic audio reactive generators
My audio setup is a bit of a mess. Right now I'm running a virtual cable from my music player, monitoring that cable and using that cable as my Resolume default input. I have External FFT signal, neither plugin is ingesting that data automatically and I don't know where to pipe it in.
Re: Basic audio reactive generators
For troubleshooting purposes, can you set your OS AND your Resolume default input device to "Microphone" assuming you have an internal mic.
Then crank you FFT and try assigning a clips opacity to an external FFT control. then clap your hands to see if the clips opacity moves.
If it does, try your plugin's next. if they work, then the issue is with the internal routing of your patch.
Process of elimination

Re: Basic audio reactive generators
Mic works but Resolume won't take its input unless I set Resolume to Primary Sound Capture Driver, I can't point it at the specific mic in.
The plugins also don't react to composition audio.
It's definitely the plugin, that's why this thread is asking for alternative plugins.
Edit: WTF, just started working.
Edit2: Kind of.

Re: Basic audio reactive generators
Okay, I think I've learned some things:
Both plugins seem to need another layer to draw over top of and they remember what they were listening to even if you change Resolume's input.

Re: Basic audio reactive generators
Glad you got some sort of fix
