AME: File Name Extension _1 - can it be disabled?

Hi there,

The work with Arena kind of is giving me a hard time ;P

Whenever I render DVX 3 out of AME it ads a "_1" extension to EVERY output file. This is very annoying now that I simply want to replay my 1080p footage with 720p*...that doesn't work it the file names don't match. Doesn't happen with any other codec I tried...

Can this be disabled? Why is it even happening?

Change your output folder so it doesn't see the original file and force a rename.
Once you do this on the first clip, the next clips you add should follow the same structure.

And to make the process even easier, you can set up a watch folder in AME and make the folder a favorite in Resolume
