Questions about Windowed Displays

Post by danklim »

Hi, i'm trying to use windowed displays more often in Resolume Avenue and have a few questions, Could you please help?

1) How do i close a windowed display? When i open one (via output in menu bar), it opens a window with no button to close it and i can't figure out how to close it!

2) How can i make the preview window go into a windowed display (or the equivalent, where it makes a seperate window from the main window that I can see and move around independently) ?

3) Can i use multiple 'preview windows' for different clips in the clip box? There are some clips/videos that I want to see in a seperate window even if i am not actually 'previewing' them in resolume?

Thanks!

CMD + Shift + D on Mac and CTRL + Shift + D on PC

You can't

No

You could easily build a screen in the Advance Output that has all you need, stream it via Syphon/Spout/NDI and open a Syphon/Spout/NDI viewer to vizualize what you're describing.
