Hi i have task to render 1h animation planet zooming in.
But i think its stupid to render 1h animation so i would like to build that efect in Resolume.
For now i can set the timeline for zooming to the value like 0,01 and wait what time i get, and if ill get time 45min, i have to set it lower and wait next hour ...no
Do you have any idea how to work around to build cheap 1h zoom effect?
thanks

Re: super long zooming
I suggest using a 3D object. Could easily do it in Quartz Composer or Touch Designer and syphon/spout the output into Resolume.

Jeap but its for theater and i have to build comp. which is easy for technicians to click.
hm but good idea to build it as an flw or smth
never did it, have to check what intelligent files can resolume reads

Re: super long zooming
At speed 1.0, the scale will animate from 0 to 10000 in 5 seconds.
1 hour = 3600 seconds. 3600 seconds is 720 times as long as 5 seconds. So you want the speed to be 720 times as slow. 1 / 720 = 0.0013888888888889
Of course, setting the duration would be a lot easier. We'd love to introduce it as a feature somewhere down the line.

Take a look at this video as it may shed some light on how to create long animations:
