Hey Bart, any updates on this "phantom project".
If someone were to purchase it in it's early stages before release would they get to play with it sooner??
I have been quite interested in this ever since I read the post last year.

***sigh***
ok.
I look forward to sending you more $$. : )
Smart idea though.... then the forums don't get filled with "YOU NEED A MAC VERSION"
posts.
IF you ever felt generous with tipping your hand on what you have planned for this app, I'm here.... I'm listening.... I'm going to get a cup of coffee and just wait...

Re: Resolumes baby brother??
bump...
just to update this post a bit... I am crossing my fingers on the emergence of a resolume-style, higher res, 1-layer-optimized AV player based on resolumes excellent user interface.
a couple times a year i go on a googlgasm looking for any sort of new vj software that is optimized not for layers or effects... but sheer speed... SD and hopefully GPU accelerated HD playback.
something that I can throw into my mixer and have a high quality dedicated animation channel to switch with, or use stand-alone if need be.
finally i found a product that does it:
http://www.renewedvision.com/pvp.php
but the downsides...
1.it is mac only. ie hardware limited - and so naturally:
2. the iInterface is your standard iUgloooo iFreakin iSore (like a candy coated resolume rip-off) *sigh*
(is it so wrong that i want my video tools to not look like a calendar program?)
next to that software, there is still no offering for a great AV player....
so consider this my wink that i still have money i want you to have.
resolume is just the perfect interface to build this type of program on.
i'll keep holding my breath. . . and holding...and
