Slice Transform - 2 outputs issue

Post by Vjcheshire »

So I had an event this last weekend and the client wanted 1 logo on the bottom DJ riser Led Wall and a couple different logos on the top Led Wall. Each was on a separate processor and I had 1 slice for each. I was trying to use the Slice transform to go between a full look, between both screens showing the whole image (i.e. flowing from the top down to the dj riser) to the normal slice transform showing the full image on both the parts. When I tried to do this, the slice transform kept putting the DJ wall image on the upper layer.

I tried using the virtual output and creating 2 slices for the bottom Dj riser 1 full screen and one an extension of the top screen to use the slice transform like I normally would as well.

Trying to figure out the best way to do this simply. Maybe I just had the slices wrong or maybe there's an easier way. Seemingly I'm not getting it right when there's 2 separate outputs ...

A screenshot of your composition layout/playing and the advanced screen setup would be helpful.

Without more info, I'd guess your Input slices were overlapping.
