iConnect MIDI2

Hi there,

Recently I purchased an iConnect MIDI2 for a Audio Visual live performance using Resolume Arena and Ableton Link. I need some help on detecting network info between mac and pc!

What we want to do is to play a specific clip in Resolume (PC) when the Audio is played in Ableton (Mac). On top of that putting some effects live. iConnect is a midi device that connects few devices with either USB port or Midi port, but I'm having trouble connecting PC and Mac with this. How do you guys link 2 computers without just using a virtual network? We wanted to use iConnect because we feel better having a hardware that we can rely on.

I already checked the input/output of MIDI connection in both programs. But the computer itself seems to not detect between Pc and Mac.

Does anybody have experience with this?

I ran my edc set via this device from a Mac to a pc between 2 programs. Was plug and play. I think using midi monitors on both machines will help. I suspect your resolume isn’t properly set up.
