Macros, keyboard shortcuts and OSC

Hi all
I'm currently trying to work out if it's possible to use OSC to change the composition size, add or delete a new layer, group or column, and if there's any way of populating that new space with clips that are already loaded elsewhere.

Is there a way of triggering a keyboard shortcut in resolume by sending a OSC message? Is there a way of OSC telling an empty clip space to hold the same clip as layer 1 column 1? Or is the only likely solution going to be to trigger an osc output from resolume to trigger an external application to handle keyboard macro recording?
