Hi, i can't get visual feedback from the buttons on my APC key 25 midicontroler. i have midi out switched on but the buttons only light up green. Anyone know how to get them reacting when pressed upon?
Thanks,
Nils

Re: APC key 25 no visual feedback
Have you set up the midi shortcuts to send different velocity values for the feedback states?

Re: APC key 25 no visual feedback
hi,
thanks, i found the right velocity's in the list and it's working!
The only thing that puzzles me is why not the 'whole clip' is triggered like it does when you you click on it with the mouse. When clicking clips with the mouse the properties of the clip are being switched as well. witch makes the properties of the clip available for beat repeat playing or using the cue-points (the whole clip-frame including the preview bar lights up when you click the thumbnail of the clip) When i midi map the clip, i select the thumbnail part of the clip. That makes it play when i press the button of the controler but it doesn't switch the properties of the clip, only the thumbnail part of the clip (the green border)
i tried to map the previewpart of the clip as well with the same midi note but, that works but it screws up my midi -light respons on the controler. I don't understand why i have to map the clip twice for just a simple clip trigger action. is there a specific procedure for doing the simple 'mouse-clip' behaviour using a midi mapped button?

Sounds like the Update clip panel on external triggers is switched off in General Preferences.
