Screen Setup Resolume Bug On Version 2.0 - 2.1 - 2.2

Post by Anonymous »

Hello.

Since version 2.0 I experience this bug in resolume:

Sometimes when activating the second screen the program frezes and I have to terminate it using ctrl+alt+del.

This doesn't happen always!!

For example.

I've installed 2.2. and tryed the program a lot of times.. Closing it normally... closing it via ctrl+alt+del... testing various screen configurations.. various decks, etc. Not a single crash.

Rebooted and the problem started to happen.

Now maybe 1 in 20 try's the screen setup works ok. The point is that sometimes works ok!

Everytime a now version comes out, first time I install it it works ok.. but then I reboot... and the bug is still there.

Maybe a problem with registy or something?

Operating System: Windows XP PRO
Processor: Pentium 4 @ 3 GHZ
Videocard: Radeon 9800 SE @ 9800 PRO (softmod-tryed without it too)

this could well be a videocard driver problem, did you try the latest omega ati radeon drivers?

Second screen BUG

Post by Anonymous »

I have second screen BUG only when attached VIDEOCAMERA to video input of my vivo Radeon X800.

BUT I think - that problem of DirectX, uses for second screen and videoinput, or theatre mode (as second screen) and videoinpus try to use one hardware element in Radeon for two different jobs.

Are you use videoinput together with second screen or not ???

I've tried a a lot of omegadrivers.

Resolume 1.51. Works fine with any driver.
Resolume 2.0 Doesn't work good with any driver.

I got the same problem too.

This problem has begun to be a real bugger, I'm starting to think to change back to elektronika for live mixing. Resolume is the best program for me, but this bug makes it impossible to use for live events, since I don't want to make decks ready for each event just to find out that today I can't get resolume to work. :(

Edit: I tried the Omega Drivers too, but they only made things worse. Resolume 2 had the same problem, but now even resolume 1.51 didn't start.
