Effects different on two identical laptops

This is a weird one: I have Resolume 6.1.2 Arena on two Mac Book pros, as I want one as a back-up, so I have been copying files and matching them up. all good, until I get to putting effects in. I notice that on one machine, all effects are the same as they have always been. for instance, if I scroll down to 'Kaleidoscope', I have two choices of available preset: 'Insanity' and 'Moving'. However, I only get this on one machine. On the other machine, there are effects, but only some of them have any available presets. Both are running the same software and same version.
Any ideas on this?

Could be that the effect presets are missing.
If these are factory presets, you can copy them from the application folder/Defaults.

If you're missing user presets, you can copy them from the Documents/Resolume Arena 6/presets/video Effects folder on the machine where they exist.
