SMPTE framerate vs content Framerate

Post by RaraAvis »

Hi Guys,

Just trying to solve another problem in the show and wondering the following:

How does SMPTE framerate relate to content framerate?

My content is 50fps and I can't do SMPTE control at that FPS... is it best to use 25fps as its a multiple? How does Resolume deal with content playback? Does it interpolate the intermediate frame?

Thanks,

Chris

Resolume should seek to the TC position (-offset) in the clip, and display the frame that's at that time position.
Make sure you use DXV encoded video files.
Software developer, Sound Engineer,
Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch
