Autopilot issue

Post by Grimm90 »

Hi , i've been having some issues running resolume 6 and i could really use some help.
I'm running my shows from my msi gs63vr laptop with win10x64, i7-7700hq - 16g ram , gtx1070maxq

an autopilot issue.
I have a group with layers with fx stacks , if i turn on the autopilot on the layer , it's not auto changing fx clips unless i set them to 'bpm sync' instead of 'timeline'.
The fxclip is active in the sense that is applying the effects, but its like the duration doesn't start running when its triggered.
Duration doesn't matter, the moment i set them to bpm sync its fixed.
All the clips are on 'autoilot>layer determined" setting
Also setting the autopilot on 'play next' or something , on the clip itself , doesn't work.

Sometimes i have a similar issue with video clips, i load the compositon and they won't play , they only show the first frame , the 'playhead' in the timeline stays at frame 1, the moment i put them to bpm sync they play.
Master speed slider is at default position, clip speed too, i don't see any reason why it's not just playing in timeline.

I make these compositions at home on my desktop & move them to my laptop. Maybe part of the issue?
Also tried the same comp on my buddys laptop same issue with autopilot :/

Is your group or composition speed set to be 0 by any chance?

You can reset them to default by right clicking on them.

goddammit they got me again. Well i guess thats solved.

+1 for the feature request list . A disable master & group speeds option.
I at least really never use these and they more often mess up things when scrolling up/down while having your mouse pointer hover on the wrong spot.
It's like A/B crossfader or audio controls to me , some people use it and its great to have , but for some its really annoying.

Thanks for helping out !

Speed param animated to timeline, paused, and set the start and end points to 1.
Now you can move the fader on the group anywhere, the clips will play at nominal speed.
