output problems

hi all,

i am new to resolume and i am having trouble outputting to a second monitor or a dv camera. as soon as i connect an output device resolume stops seeing my webcam input. i imagine is a driver thing but it wasnÂ´t happening before i started testing the output. also i donÂ´t see a second monitor option in the screen set up tab.

i am using a:

sony vaio laptop
ati graphic card
windows xp
1 gig ram
60 gb hard drive
250 gb external usb 2.0 hard drive

well, i discovered something interesting and that is that after 30 minutes or so of having the program going and changing nothing my web cam works fine. ok this a bit frustrating cause i have no clue whatÂ´s happening.
