Beat matching
It would be cool if Resolume would maintain a beat clock (BPM), then you could have the animation of various effect parameters specfied in terms of beats - ie complete rotation in 4 beats, play clip in two beats, etc.
AFAIK, control of fx, clips, filters, ... is done using MIDI notes. You can use a MIDI sequencer for the control of clips and fx,... . Most of them (or all sequencers) can be synced by MIDI clock or MIDI Time Code.
Where does your clock signal comes from, are you using any beat-counter/tracker? Hardware or software?

I know that, and I have done it before, linking programs with MIDIOX.
What I meant is that it would be cool if Resolume was able to express units (eg. clip duration etc) as beats AND also have some way of defining the beat duration - by tapping it in, by typing a number or from a MIDI clock.
Resolume currently seems to work in frames and frames per second, which is sometimes hard to sync with music...
