midi trigger of FX

If i assign an effect directly to a midi note, works fine, if I assign 2 or more effects to MIDI notes, the effect flashes briefly but doesn't stay on

same as other trouble I had : I had the USB midi in AND normal MIDI in through a cable at the same time so triggering was done twice therefore cancelling it.

HELLO Sblurg !

At start using my Edirol PCR-30 (USB) - i have the same problem with Edirol PCR-30 (USB).
But I solve it !

For manual mapping i have Edirol PCR EDITOR - included on firmly dirol CD for my PC.
But i can do new mapping thru service sequences pressing knobs - it`s too long !

In that editor i can choice port 1 or port 2 or port 1+2 - i can select at what MIDI port come my midi command.

But - I connect my Edirol on USB - and in manual i read "If you connect via USB - you don`t need select port or if you do that - it don`t matter".
IF i select "port 1+2" - i have the same problem as YOU.
But i do many experiments - and select only "port 1" (but connect via USB) - and SFXs selection work correctly.

Effect cancelling selected SFX i have because midi command (in my case) send 2 times: on each selected ports in sequence - but connected USB receieve MIDI command twice !

But i make selection via controllers and sliders not only thru knobs.
