Hey guys!
Im using an Resolume Arena 6 on an Alienware 15' R2 - Windows 10 with Nivida 980M installed on this laptop.
I am using a P3.9MM LED Wall and Using the NovaPROHD. (HDMI straight into NovaPROHD)
I have been told by others that they have used the same screen as me and that there image and videos look a lot more clear on the screen?
They are using an Apple MacBook Pro.
Why could I be lacking quality? Is this true? Are they outputting 4K Quality and I'm not?
The pictures and videos we are using are both of the same quality, So I'm trying to work out why I wouldn't be getting the same quality on the LED Wall?
Thanks Guys!
HELP!!! LED WALL OUTPUT QUALITY
Re: HELP!!! LED WALL OUTPUT QUALITY
Hi s7Ing,
we need more details to help you.
- What is the resolution of your content?
- What is your output resolution?
- What is the resolution of your compositon?
- What is the resolution of your whole LED wall?
- What is your configuration in the advanced output?
- Describe "look a lot more clear" a bit more detailed.
Last to say... both..the Alienware and the MacBook can deliver the same image quality... it's not the system... it's all about the configuration.
My guess without knowing anything specific. You are upscaling somewhere. For example... your comp size is 1920x1080 and your output is 3840x2160. You might took their 4K videofile... and placed it in your composition which was set to "fit"-content to composition size. But this is just a guess.
Best wishes

Turn off the "Blur" FX in your comp

Re: HELP!!! LED WALL OUTPUT QUALITY
U have to try set the hdmi output to full depth (0-255) at first
Than your black on your led is really black not grey
Its in nvidia settings

Re: HELP!!! LED WALL OUTPUT QUALITY
That doesn't affect quality (I mean it sorta does, but not the extent of this SOS post). It's more likely a scaling issue. Without seeing the comp, it's hard to tell.Filipsz wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2019 01:28 U have to try set the hdmi output to full depth (0-255) at first
