FPS decreases every minute
FPS decreases every minute
Hi. I use latest version of Resolume Arena 7 and i have a problem with FPS. After turning on a column with 1 picture and 1 video in 2 layers, after 10 minutes i'll lose 0.15 fps from 60 every 5 minutes(after ~32 minutes i'll have 59 FPS / after 1 hour - 58 FPS). FPS will be jump to 59/58 and back every 3 seconds and on the projection i'll see freezes. The video is converted in Alley(1024x768) and filled in the project(1920x1080 60fps), output: DVI to projector(1920x1080), configuration: i7-9750H, GTX 1660 ti, 16 GB RAM.

Re: FPS decreases every minute
Even at 25fps you shouldn't see freezes. What is your internal Hard Drive you have and I'm assuming Windows 10?
is your clip very long, or just a short clip you have set to auto-pilot?
Thanks and Happy New Year.

About HD i know only rpm - 7200. Ye, Windows 10 home. 15 seconds without auto-pilot.Arvol wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2020 21:38 Even at 25fps you shouldn't see freezes. What is your internal Hard Drive you have and I'm assuming Windows 10?

Re: FPS decreases every minute
Are you on Resolume 7.1?
I have 2 clips (4k) running for about 5 min. My fps doesn't drop below 59 and everything seems fine to me on my end. I have a nvme ssd installed but for what you're running, a 7200 rpm should be good enough. I've ran many shows with my fps down in the mid 40's before and I couldn't tell any difference.
What model is your PC? Some manufactures have issues with 3rd party add-on's, Maybe that is causing some interference?

Re: FPS decreases every minute
Do you see GPU/CPU temps rise and frequencies fall with the FPS decrease?

Re: FPS decreases every minute
Everything works stably without changes. I tested my PC(i7 7700, GTX 1050 ti, 16 GB RAM) with this project and my pc doesn't have problems with FPS... Tomorrow i will testing an other laptop and then write resultsZoltán wrote: Sun Jan 05, 2020 09:30 Do you see GPU/CPU temps rise and frequencies fall with the FPS decrease?

PC(GTX 1050 TI, i7-7700, 16 GB 2400): -0.5 fps
