Clickable Timeline worked fine w/Ver 7 > Re: Version 6 License
Thank you, Zoltan.
But I also just tried your ver 0.3 with Version 7 and it worked fine. Can you try Ver 7 with your latest Clickable Timeline and confirm?
Also, we have only been testing with a short clip, and not an entire 2-hour movie (multiple camera angles). So I don't know if "responsiveness" or perfect SYNC with your patch will work with much longer files, 5 camera angles.
If there is an issue, then I will write you at the address you provided.
Appreciate everything!

Weird, the scrubbing audio issues don't seem so bad via OSC.Film35HD wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2020 11:14 But I also just tried your ver 0.3 with Version 7 and it worked fine. Can you try Ver 7 with your latest Clickable Timeline and confirm?
It will also depend on what kind of files you're using, mp4 won't be as much responsive as DXV.Also, we have only been testing with a short clip, and not an entire 2-hour movie (multiple camera angles). The app sends the same float to all layers in a single OSC bundle, so if the clips are the same length, they should get synced to the same frame.
The time display in the timeline app needs a few seconds of playback to get accurate, it can get up to +- 2 seconds for a 2 hour movie. that's pretty good. The time display will show how long the clip will actually play, not the file duration.

Re: FAST CUE of Multiple Clips in exact sync
Thank you for the information, Zoltan.
I don't mind the audio scrubbing when moving around the timeline to find a cue... most editors are used to it, especially old-school editors like me who had to always edit LINEARLY before 2000, when NLEs like Avid Media Composer started to get to "On-Line" broadcast-quality. Before then, we only used personal computers/small workstations to do "Off-Line" draft-quality. That would produce an Edit List that would be sent to an On-Line edit session with expensive VTRs ("decks") that would do the final assembly, so we actually like to hear the audio "moving" around we are assured something is cueing properly.
For Arena, I would have audio going through a DJ mixer and just mute the channels anyway, then fade-up when I resume playback of multiple channels.

Re: FAST CUE of Multiple Clips in exact sync
Do I have to somehow SELECT WHICH LAYERS I want the mouse movement to control? Or was that already determined when I "EDIT KEYBOARD" and assigned "1" to each layer?
Re: FAST CUE of Multiple Clips in exact sync
You select affected layers by creating the shortcut on them.alba_strosin wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2020 04:32 Do I have to somehow SELECT WHICH LAYERS I want the mouse movement to control? Or was that already determined when I "EDIT KEYBOARD" and assigned "1" to each layer?
You can also have multiple shortcuts for a highlighted item (right click - duplicate shortcut), so you could set up different keys to affect a group of specific layers.
