Deinterlace method ? BMD Ultrastudio HD 1080i

I understand this is probably a long shot....
I have a 1080i feed from a BMD Ultrastudio Mini Recorder.
The Deinterlace function does its job, but I wonder if there is a way to choose the deint method ?
Is deinterlacing dependent on the BMD driver, or is it a Resolume function ? If the latter, I guess improving this feature is getting decreasing priority as time passes by ?

Like in this old topic (https://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... blackmagic) it look like today we still have very basic deint method (drop every other field then duplicate lines...). Blend or YADIF would be great

Resolume does the deinterlacing internally. Currently indeed with a very basic method.
