Resolume Licence Expiration & OS Updates

Hi I'm sure this has been asked plenty of times and it's probably a stupid question but Google didn't like how i was wording it.

I recently got a Resolume Arena 7 licence. I understand that I only get a years worth
of free up dates but does that include updates for OS compatibility? As in if my licence
expires and Resolume doesn't like a particular OS update, will I still be able to download
an updated version of my current Resolume version that will be compatible with that OS update?

Basically your license will work for ever with the last Resolume release within the year, even after the year of updates expired.

No, OS updates are out of our hands, we can't guarantee anything about OS updates.
Any fixes will come with new Resolume updates.

It will be more like a new OS won't like Resolume.
So if you're in doubt about compatibility, back up your system before upgrading your OS, so you have something to revert to.

Bugga, figured that would be the case, just wanted to make sure. I've had compatibility issues with outdated graphics software vs OS updates before so I'm used to the issue/work-arounds I guess. I think I just got to used to continuous free update for games in recent times hehe.
