Exclusive Slice Content

Hello.
Let's say I have a simple composition with 02 layers and 02 slices.
Slice 01 needs to be the full composition size.
Slice 02 is assigned to layer 02 only.
Layer 02 has a reduced size content. Slice 02 is resized to that content and needs to be moved to output.

The fact is that assigning a Slice to a specific layer will not prevent Slice 01 from getting content from layer 02 as well, creating and undesired content copy.

I have just one video output.
Is there a way to avoid this? Whay am I missing. Some router solution perhaps?
Wouldn't be great to have content exclusive to a specific slice?

Same as above :

The Slices in the Advanced output have two checkboxes
1. Ignore layer opacity
2. gnore layer bypass

When you tell the slice to ignore bypass option you can bypass the layer so its not shown in the comp and still can see it inside the advanced output.

but the way via slice transform is way more elegant:

Place the slices were you need them and drop a slice transoform with the slice you want on the layers
view - Slices if you dont see slices inside the gui

For instances where you have 10 outputs and you Don't want to have a 8,000 x 4,000 comp size, I would just map each layer to its own screen and slice. (I'm actually doing this example setup all week for an install).

But, If you want to have a very large comp for a reference monitor, Slice Transform can quickly snap things into place. In my case I have so much going on I chose not to use slice transform as I need to reserve as many system resources as possible, but for most cases this isn't an issue at all.

That option doesn't work for me. "ignore" options are available to slices targeted to specific layers only.
I want the remaining slice to ignore the layer targeted by the first slice.

All remaining slices are included in real time mixing during the gig. I can set each slice to a specific layer. I just need one to do that and save that content from the others.

I also don't believe that Slice Transform will help the way I need.

You dont listen or i dont understand what you need...

Do you want to have:

COMPOSITION - 1Layer ---> Slice 1
only Layer 1------------------> Slice 2 ?

That is perfect possible with the "ignor bypass" option....


Also be carefull with the order of the slices so it fits your need...
