How can I start my audio in Arena simultaneously with a video clip so they are in sync?

So I don't need to the BPM to follow my clips I just need the audio I've imported into a layer to play at the exact same time as a video clip. How can this be done?

1st Way:
You can drop the audio onto the video and combine them both to one clip
Only recommended when they are exactly the same length....


2nd Way:
Drop them into the same collom and then start via the collom trigger.

3rd way:
Use external trigger (osc / midi / artnet etc) and map both clips to the same trigger

Also, let me be clear on exactly what it is I'm trying to do.

I essentially have a 30 minute audio track that I am trying to sync video clips to...that's it. The backing track is all prearranged via an uncompressed audio format and I'll be playing instruments live behind this. I just need the initial video clip to start at the same time with the audio and I'll manually sync the videos to the audio.
