Trigger random video by category

Hi, I'm a new user, trying to figure out whether to use Avenue for a project.

The goal is to have a live stream that plays videos from different categories in random order. So for example:

1. Play 1 random video from categories A, B, or C.
2. Play 1 random video from category D
3. Start over.

Is that something I can do in Avenue / Wire?

Should be no problem in Avenue.
Place your clips for different categories into different layers.
Set layer auto pilot to random, and trigger a clip in the layer. https://resolume.com/support/en/layers#auto-pilot
To stop the layer you can click the X on the layer to eject the clips.
