A problem is that when some new LAYERS are added in to the composition, the INPUT SOURCE in the ADVANCE OUTPUT it changes.
Only if the new LAYER is added on top, respects the previous INPUT SOURCES, but if a LAYER is created below the existing LAYERS, then it's a mess.

+1 I think linking via the unique ID and not the position would be a quick fix, right?

Not if you'd like to use the advanced output preset with other compositions too.
I could imagine this as a preferences setting.
