Add Resolume Effects to Videos Before Decode/Encode (Alley)

I would like to have the ability to add effects to videos in a batch before converting. This could include mapping an alpha channel to black, and other commonly used effects to reduce GPU useage in resolume.

Alley is a slim player and converter and i think it should stay this way.

You can do it inside arena with the "clip render" if you want to take some load of your system. maybe not the solution you want to have but the only you have right now

I guess that makes sense. I'm not sure of Alley's codebase.

In that case, since you can copy and "paste effects" in resolume, would it be possible to batch "render to file".

I haven't heard back on this but I'd like to expand...

Lets say I create/purchase a bunch of mp4 type files where there is a black background or green screen or whatever as a mask. In Resolume, I basically have to render each one individually and chroma out the background to alpha live for each clip. I may have hundreds of clips in a particular set.

I'm all for removing a Black or Green BG via Alley. I believe there is already a ticket made for this
