Emergency: Comp won't open, no error, show friday...

For some reason my comp file won't open today. There are no errors, the file simply doesn't load. This file has months of work on it and I have a show in two days. HELP!!!!!!!!!

Looks like this file is very corrupted. When I open one of my comps in Sublime I get a typical XML format. Your file is all 0's.
Do you have a backup?

I've had comps crash before due to a video file being corrupted. So at that point you have to open all your files in Alley and find the culprit, then open your comp in Sublime and remove the line of code with that clips name and location and that usually fixes the issue.

What you have going on is something completely different. The entire file is corrupted, no fixing that.
Always smart to keep 2-3 backups of your Documents Arena folder somewhere (cloud drive even) just for emergencies like this.

As far as we know, empty files like this happen when the machine loses power on shutdown, before the disk cache can be flushed/written properly.
Did you experience something like this?
