Smpte performance issues

Hello!

Having a weird performance issue.

Running Resolume Arena 7.7.1
Comp and clip resolution is 15000x3000

When playing clip in “timeline” method - Resolume output is solid 50 fps.

When switching to smpte, fps drops sometimes below 25fps. Average is 35~.

Tested on a 25fps and @50fps clips. Both DVX.

SMPTE input tested via motherboard sound card and focusrite 2i2 3rd gen. Same result in both of them.

Please help me solve it.

What kind of machine are you using?

Actually i did tested it on two different systems.

One is a desktop pc.
i7 8700k, gtx 1080, 32 ram

And the other one is a laptop.
i7 11th gen, rtx 3070, 32 ram

I think the issue is with the file resolution, and the way how SMPTE playback gets the frames from the file.
I'll make a ticket, maybe we can improve this somehow.

A smaller resolution file in the same composition should be performing better.
