Embedded audio or not?

Is it still the case that audio and video should be rendered separately and then merged together in Resolume or is this a thing of the past now??

Just wondering if I'll have any issues if I transcode a MP4 video (with audio) file into to DXV to be used as a backing track on a gig

Should be fine. If it's a crazy long video (like 6 hours) you might have issues but anything a few hours or less plays perfect for me.
