I only use Resolume now and then when I need to slice for LED screens, my usual route is Barco S3 with 1 big wall, but I have noticed in the past that when i am using Resolume the screen has felt a little soft compared to what I am used to but never had the A/B setup to check it and just excepted it is probably my eyes...
I've gone back through different versions to check if this has been introduced recently but the same results on all versions back to 7.2.0 (I haven't gone back any further!)

Re: Soft Output
My Initial reasons for doing the A/B Comparison were for latency testing to see if Resolume would perform as well as S3 for live camera to screen purposes and it seems to be equal to S3 on that front, but then this softness issue was brought to light.
I know once this is on a big wall the softness won't really be an issue for the show but it is frustrating knowing it isn't as good as it should/could be.

Re: Soft Output
Can you post some screenshots of your Resolume settings, composition settings, clip and layer panels,
Advanced output input an output slices, and their params?
Display scaling on your output display settings in windows set to 100%?

Re: Soft Output
I have always noticed a saturation change between input and output in advanced output screens. Never understood why they were different
Re: Soft Output
Because the slice is selected with some highlight on the inputkman1898 wrote: Thu Jan 27, 2022 19:40I have always noticed a saturation change between input and output in advanced output screens. Never understood why they were different

Re: Soft Output
Good to know but shouldn’t they both be highlighted the same since both slices are selected in each? Also it happens when I secret the screen too not just the slices. And I notice it on the whole screen not just a single slice.
Re: Soft Output
Thanks for the screenshots, everything looks normal to me there.
Using a snapshot of the Resolume test card as windows background vs sending the same to the same display I can see a very slight difference in sharpness.
Let's see what our devs say.
