live-streaming to another resolume laptop off-site

I am working out how to live stream Resolume to another person with Resolume for Performance Arcade this week. We have been testing different solutions.

We have used skype but the video gets compressed videos are softer more blurred and pixelated.
NDI worked well as a local network but not over the internet live-streaming.
Is there something we can do to get it to stream over the internet?

We may go back to OBS and twitch. The video did not naturally scale like it did with NDI.
Any tips user-friendly ways to use OBS/twitch or other solutions for non-geeks?

We have been checking the Resolume manual and whats online but would like a way affirmed by the VJ community that works.
