Times of effects and Video Inputs are off

Post by Lightart »

Hey,

i have a problem and i can't realy understand why.

I start all layers in a column with a column start. One layer contains external Video Files and the other layer effects. The duration of the effect and the Videos are identical.

The Idea is that the played contant of every layer should skip in time to the next Column. But here comes the part where i can't get my head around.

After only two columns, the timing of both are off and don't match.

This doesn't appear when I use multiple effects or sources in the layer, only with the video Files.

Applying the effect direct to the Video isn't n Option because the Effect should be applied to a live Video feet (third layer)

Any ideas or solutions?
Kind regards
Kai

Do you have transition times setup on layers?
Maybe a small screen recording (HD) would be helpful.
Why can't you apply FX to the clips or inputs?

There are no transitions.

The idea is that i have a live video feed with effects and a second video file with "transparence" as an overlay. But the effects and the video file should be snyc.

You can throw FX on a layer even rather than a clip. What type of FX are you using?
Are you trying to change an fx with a clip? Like clip one or angle 1 has a red color tint, and clip2 or angle 2 has a blue tint? I have no idea what you are trying to do (where a video or a very detailed explanation helps)
