Pixel mapping outputs

Is there a way to have pixel mapped Led steps to be on a separate output/layer so I can apply specialized content videos and static color. On another layer I would like it to output to a projector. so I guess is there a way to target layers to specific outputs like dmx and screen outputs specifically?
