i would like to recommend some future extensions:
- scratching via midi
to be able to set the current frame via midi and trough a filtered audio volume controll
- 2 effect possibilitys for each channel
- extended possibilitys to communicate to a flash movie
( mouse pointer interactive should be working during playback, 2 parameteres to trigger via interface or midi channels
-not all qucktime movies are able to be played
- patch setups loadable through shortcuts
- browser with possiblity of thumbnails
for easear browsing
share and enjoy your present

wishes for new version
i've got one....
The possiblity to load movies into RAM. True, most movies, even short clips, can be quite large in size, so this would really only be useful to a few people, but I current have to create a RAM drive and copy my files into it ahead of time. If I could change the files in the RAM drive at runtime, this would be OK. But since the Resolume screen is fullscreen, I'd have to minimize it to do so, hence minimizing my 2nd video out fullscreen also... That would be bad...

just a question about RAM drives -
i find the performance of resolume is fine (3 layers - 4 effects - all in realtime and faster)
are you guys having frame-rate problems?
if so, what resolution are you running, and what sort of media (codec)
I use 320x240, indeo avi or flash, and i has no problems - i know it's not the highest res, but in the mix, and in a smoky club its just fine.
peace
