Random got gone with the blend selector overhaul.
Shortcuts still have the random option, that could work to select a random blend.

This is so pathetic! Like the previous speaker, I used Random all the time. Have to go back to 9.xx
Will this Random feature be brought back in future updates?

I also saw that there is Random in Wires. Maybe there's something you can adjust there.
But it's hard for me anyway. Maybe there is some kind of ready-made sketch?

I agree, taking out the random transition is huge step back. It was so nice since I dj and do my visuals at the same time, it's a super convenient tool to have. Please bring this back.
