Video doesn't trigger from the start

Hi,
Running resolume v7.10 and facing this issue where in if I trigger a video file maybe the second or third time on a layer which is sliced above layers running with content already, say a client video to be played when they ask for it during a ppt live, the video triggers but it plays not from the start position immediately, it plays a fraction of a second of the clip somewhere from inbetween and then starts from the beginning. For eg, if it is a countdown starting from 10 counting to 0, the first time I play it it would play correct ie from 10 to zero, but the second time or the third or any other time I play it, it would show up say 5 or 7 on screen before retracing and playing the clip from the beginning that is from 10. Anyone else faced this preciously?

When you converting the clip to DXV. Does this still occur?

Most of these videos come from the client and are in H.264, mp4 format. Haven't been converting using alley and triggering them off!

h264 for me is the most "hicky" codec to use with Resolume. It can makes trouble when skipping around....or when using a different startpoint.

I would highly recommend using dxv or prores
