Configure MA 2 onPC with resolume on pc laptop

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to Resolume, but not to media servers, and am having some issues gaining control of the Resolume software via MA 2 onPC.
My rig consists of a PC laptop running Windows 10 and the latest version of onPC (3.9.60.45) and a MA 3 (2) port node in MA 2 mode.
I've read quite a bit of documentation on this site and others, as well as searching through videos with no success.
If someone could point me in the direction of any helpful documentation or provide any guidance I would truly appreciate it.
The software seems great and I'm eager to get started.

Are you getting Artnet out of the MA on PC to your lights? If so, can you connect that same artnet port to a switch and then see if you Resolume machine is seeing artnet? Both machines on the same IP range?

I've got the onPC software on my laptop sending sACN to my node, as I would if I had a console with an LX rig I was controlling as well as a LED panels.
I've then configured onPC to stream Artnet.
Should my node be configured for Artnet, as opposed to sACN?
In other words, since there is no console with (2) ethernet ports (the second being dedicated to Artnet), does it all need to be configured for Artnet?

If your network port is sending artnet (and sACN) and your Resolume machine is on the same network with an appropriate IP, it should all work in theory. I've only ever used artnet so I've never tried sending both protocols down a single port, but I would assume they would work?

I've changed the node to Artnet 3 protocol and the onPC console is seeing it, but I still can't gain control of the Resolume GUI.
The laptop ethernet port/onPC are addressed at 2.0.0.1 and the node is at 2.0.0.5, and the firewall is disabled.
Even if I take the node out of the network and just try controlling it with the laptop that both pieces of software are on, it doesn't work. I'm definitely perplexed. It should be pretty straightforward at that point.
FYI for future reference...you can't send sACN and Artnet down the same port, which is why there are (2) ethernet ports on an MA console. Port #2 is dedicated to Artnet.
I'll continue to work on it.

Two programs on the same computer might not be able to open the same ports for Art-net.

Through a bit of trial and error I finally managed to get the Resolume software to respond to MA 2 onPC.
It's all on one pc with an onPC 2-port node connected via a switch.
