Can't record on Resolume 7

I'm unable to record a long enough video on Resolume 6 so I'm testing out an unregistered version of Resolume 7 to see if it's worth an upgrade. When I load my composition and hit record it immediately saves a 180 byte file that doesn't seem to contain any info. Is this a limitation of the unregistered version or is something wrong here?

​Saving and everything else works in the unregistered Resolume versions, so you can try it as long as you'd like. The only limitation is the occasional watermark and robot voice.

Do you have enough free space on your disk?
