I'm working with a client's system and trying to get a production up and running for Friday - Sunday performances.
They are running Arena 5 on Windows 7 on two computers. One computer outputs to 3 projectors and the second outputs to 2 projectors.
I synced the two machines using OSC. I don't need anything fancy -- I just need the second machine to activate a column when the first machine does.
The problem I'm running into is that some clips are designed to end earlier on one machine than the other, but Resolume insists on syncing clip duration which means Resolume is slowing the short clips down to match the duration of the long clips. I need all clips to run their actual duration.
I disabled OSC mapping of all Transport elements on both machines.
What am I doing wrong? Is this even possible on Arena 5?
Arena 5 OSC Disable Sync of Clip Duration
Re: Arena 5 OSC Disable Sync of Clip Duration
Arena 5 will send out all data available, Master-slave is not supported.
If you only need column triggers, I'd recommend doing the triggering for both Resolume from an external application, and not use OSC output between the two Resolume.
Filtering the OSC messages with a third party app to only pass the column triggers could also work.

Ah, I see. Well, thank you.
