Matrox RT.X100 VJ compatible?

Post by Anonymous »

HI there,

THe guys at matrox.com think that resolume might be compatible with the matrox RT.X100, could you let me know what the deal is with this? I'd very much like to get into VJing and it would be great if I could find something that would work with this powerful card.

Thanks in advance. :)

Should be fine. Matrox and Ati are the recommended cards for resolume. Remember if you haven't bought one yet you really don't need a very high end card for resolume since it is really only used for the output options, resolume is a software mixer, so I wouldn't spend too much cash unless you'll find good use for it elsewhere.

I still use a Radeon9200 and it does me fine.

Hi there,

i have that card for my video editing... but that card isnt for vjing... its strong point is that it makes much effects render real time in Premiere Pro, its dedicated processing for Premiere not a video-card...
so my advice: if u want a real-time video editing card, buy it its great... but if you want to buy a video-card for vj-ing dont buy it, buy a ATI card. i use the Radeon 8900 pro and it works great
