Arena 7.15 crashes on my M1 Macbook Pro

Post by pixelpusher510 »

I've been having issues with Arena crashing on my Macbook Pro -- it was running fine and now it seems to crash at random. I'm getting some sort of a "pointer authentication failure"? Any ideas how to fix it?
Of course I have a big gig this weekend and was hoping to use Resolume. It was happening on version 7.14 as well and I updated it and while it seems more stable, it did crash again once I updated.

The crash report you sent with your forum email is about a corrupt file.
The log doesn't say which file it is, but if you see the crash happen with a specific file, we'd love to check it out!

Also check that overclocking is disabled on the CPU, RAM and GPU, and that the machine is switched off cleanly to avoid data corruption on disk in the future.
Using ECC RAM can also protect from external interference.
